About the Club |
|
The club exists to give under- eighteens the chance to experience the action and excitement of cycle sport and is accredited through British Cycling’s Go-Ride scheme.
Go-Ride clubs aim to be safe, effective and child-friendly, use traffic free facilities, such as school playing fields and playgrounds and have trained coaches that introduce young riders to a range of cycling disciplines, such as Mountain Biking, BMX and Track Riding. Activities are fun, exciting and challenging for newcomers and more experienced riders alike. Young people will learn essential cycling skills that will make them safer, better and faster than their friends. There’s also a Skills Test that challenges even the best riders, so whatever your ability level, you will have a great time! This web site supports the club activities by listing event details, reports, results. photo galleries etc. If you cannot see details of forthcoming training sessions below it is because you have not registered and logged in. |

Edinburgh 48 MTB Series
Thursdays: 10th May, 17th and 24th May Craigmillar Country Park, Edinburgh
What are the 48 MTB races?
Scottish Cycling MTB guru Paul Newnham came up with the idea:a grassroots mountain bike challenge open to all, a race that people can ride to (rather than drive) and a way to get fit but in a fun way.
